The Greater MONTARGIS area, a haven of peace between forest and river
MONTARGIS is part of a ten-town community called AME, which stands for Agglomération Montargoise et Rives du Loing (The Greater Montargis and Banks of the Loing River community). The nine other members of AME are: Amilly, Cepoy, Chalette sur Loing, Conflans sur Loing, Corquilleroy, Pannes, Paucourt, Villemandeur and Vimory. The community is home to 60,000 inhabitants, many of whom work in fields related to economic development and tourism.
